No cold calling for me

We mostly play to our strengths which at times can be overstated… there are often more revelations in understanding or at the very least having some grasp on what derails you… in terms of marketing myself I have stayed firmly in my comfort zone which is not cold calling (the thought is enough to make me feel anxious)… I like nicely greased, warm and fuzzy introductions (Thank you to all those who have kindly opened doors for me)… However I do have a first… I wrote a brief email to someone that I was interested in meeting… and to my absolute delight and surprise I have a meeting scheduled for the end of March… and no I haven’t changed my fears on unsolicited calling…
