New melody for new times

I have thankfully forgotten the disorientation of migration – this week I had coffee with a woman, a new(ish) migrant in Sydney, and was struck by how we seek out similarity and find none, the solace of a remembered time elsewhere whilst trying to find a new rhythm in a new place… not easy… the reality is that any change, not just geographical, leaves many of us searching for a internal melody we not only recognise but love.
